Beef is now available from our farm to your freezer via our great local processors. Processing will be provided by either Schroeder Meats in New Germany and Petty Brothers Meats in Annandale. Our beef is born and raised here on the farm. So is their feed. Everything they eat we grow. They are fed mostly grass with fermented corn silage daily. So you get the nutrition of grass fed with the flavor of grain fed.
No antibiotics. No growth rate enhancers fed. No feed stuffs or protein pellets.
Raised with respect and care. Price is $3.89/ pound hanging weight for meat cost (offering 5% discount for cash payment on meat cost) plus butcher processing cost which can be found on the links above. You choose how the meat is processed and cut. Meat will be a good mix of steaks, roasts and ground hamburger depending on how you choose to process your beef.
Note: There are 2 payments to make: one payment to us for the beef cost and one payment the butcher for processing. Approx costs below for quarters and halves include both costs ADDED TOGETHER IN TOTAL. If the beef is larger hanging weight it may go over the approximate cost.
PRICING
Quarter
An average quarter yields about 120-150 pounds of take home meat and the average cost is around $950-$1200 (meat cost plus processing in total). You request how you want your quarter cut with custom processing instructions. Perfect for small-medium families. You'll need 4-5 cu ft of freezer space. A small chest freezer will do.
Half
Approximate yield is 240-300 pounds of take home meat and costs approximately $1950-$2400 (meat cost plus processing in total). You request how you want the half cut and have additional options with a half beef. Perfect for Medium/Large families, or splitting/gifting meat. You'll need 8-10 cu ft of freezer space. A medium chest freezer will do.

Ground beef has very limited availability in 2025. Due to market prices, input costs, and labor the price reflects what we need to sell our beef for to make a profit. We're proud to offer ground beef that's worth it.
